OMEGA's New Release
This new release brings a complete transformation of the case architecture while preserving the technical DNA that has defined the Planet Ocean since its introduction in 2005.
The updated design features a more angular and modern profile, with refined proportions: a 42 mm diameter and a slimmer 13.79 mm thickness, offering a more streamlined presence on the wrist. The ceramic bezel now presents a flatter shape with enhanced grip. The watch maintains its 600-meter water resistance, sapphire crystal, and screw-down crown, now protected by integrated crown guards. The helium escape valve is discontinued for this generation.
The collection is available on a newly designed steel bracelet with micro-adjustment or on rubber straps featuring steel end links.
The dial retains the Planet Ocean’s signature elements, including the broad-arrow hands and trapezoidal markers. Updates include the removal of the date window and redesigned Arabic numerals with a cleaner, more contemporary style that complements the new case.
Inside, the watch is powered by the Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 8912, featuring a co-axial escapement, silicon balance spring, twin-barrel construction, a 60-hour power reserve, and an independently adjustable hour hand. The titanium caseback uses the Naiad Lock system to ensure perfect alignment of the engravings.
The new Seamaster Planet Ocean collection is now available starting at €7,900, depending on the selected configuration.
