    Breitling refreshes the Chronomat

Breitling has unveiled a major update to its Chronomat collection, introducing 22 new references across the Chronomat B01 42, Automatic B31 40 and Automatic 36 lines.

The latest generation refines the design first reintroduced in 2020 while staying true to the spirit of the original 1984 Chronomat, one of Breitling’s most recognisable luxury sports watches.

The updated collection brings slimmer cases, improved ergonomics and a more seamless integration between case and bracelet, creating a more refined look and feel on the wrist. The new Chronomat B01 42, for example, significantly reduces its thickness while preserving its sporty character and strong wrist presence.

Signature details such as the Rouleaux bracelet, rider tabs and aviation-inspired DNA remain central to the collection, continuing the legacy born alongside Italy’s Frecce Tricolori aerobatics team.

Inside, Breitling continues to equip the collection with COSC-certified manufacture movements, including the Caliber 01 chronograph movement and the newer B31 automatic calibre offering up to 78 hours of power reserve.
